Compass, facing east and north. The rim graphics are asymmetrical, so it can't be flipped to get the other two directions, and palette swapping won't work either. This may have just been a collectable item graphic.

A walking enemy, unlike most in the game. This appears near the slave graphics, were the "slave rooms" (where Jack's brothers are held) meant to have guards?

A wall hatch which opens and closes, and was probably intended to shoot the unused fireballs. The final game contains no stationary enemies or projectiles at all.

These are from a single row of tiles in the middle of the graphics data, so they may be related somehow. The two smiley faces are identical. Tecmo was known for hiding references to other games (including a song from Star Force in this game), so this could be a Star Force reference, although the ship looks different.

Some easter eggs hidden by the developers, including an [http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E7%9B%B8%E5%90%88%E5%82%98 ai ai gasa]. The game has no credits, so it isn't clear who the initials represent.
