Menace Beach tells the heartwarming tale of a boy who must defeat ninjas, clowns, Elvis impersonators, and other dangerous foes to save his kidnapped girlfriend – all while riding a skateboard.
Four years later, Wisdom Tree dug up the game and reskinned it to make the Christian-themed Sunday Funday.

Specifically: Are the graphics the only thing left?
Menace Beach was supposed to have a jet ski bonus level but it got cut from the final game. However, graphics for Scooter on the jet ski as well as graphics for the background, water and points still remain within the ROM.
There are two different ways to trigger this cheat.
At the title screen, press Left, Select, Left (×6), Up (×6), Right (×6). (For Sunday Funday, use 7 presses instead of 6)
White parts of the screen should flash red every time you press the correct button (except first Left). A sound will play if the code is entered correctly. Finally, press B to trigger the cheat and the message "YOU BIG CHEATERHEAD!" appears and another sound will play.
Now you can skip the level you're in by pressing B + Select during the game.
Start a new game, then press Up + A + B on Controller 1 and Up on Controller 2 at the same time. If done correctly, you will be sent back to the title screen. Like above, press B + Select during the game to skip levels.
Complete the game (or just use the level skip cheat) then, when the ending animation sequence ends and the message "PRESS A TO REPLAY SCREEN, PRESS START TO RESTART GAME" appears, press and hold Down + Left + Select.
While holding these buttons, a sound will play 10 times, then 5 times in row. Immediately, the message will appear at the bottom of the screen.
STOP! HIDDEN MESSAGE TIME! I'D LIKE TO THANK THE FOLLOWING GOOFBALLS FOR BEING MY BUDS. KEITH THE STICK, GARY "ELVEZ" THE MASTER WORDSMITH, RUSTY THE SURFING CARROT TOP, BOOBALA THE GREAT, KAREN JO THE SPARE DANCING POOL SHARK, AND LAST BUT STILL LOST, JIM THE DUDE! NINA'S LAST NAME IS BEDNER.

How does one access this room with Game Genie?
In Menace Beach, there will be 9 lives for you to pick up, and upon falling down the hole, you'll be taken to the start of World 4. Room plays overworld theme.
In Sunday Funday though, the game will just freeze, and will display the screen differently depending on where you teleported from. To the left, teleported from the title screen, to the right, teleported from in-game. Room plays any music that was already playing.
This Room can be accessed by opening the HEX editor, and in NES memory, changing the first set to 17. This method of teleporting to different rooms can be used in Color Dreams' games which use the Kungfu engine (Secret Scout, Operation Secret Storm, Challenge of the Dragon), and also Free/Fish Fall.
By using the teleporting method described above, you can access this debug mode by teleporting from the title screen to any destination without having started a game. You will have 254 lives (Although the first digit of the number isn't displayed), which is the max number of lives you can have, and an infinite set of hearts, if you don't pick any other heart.
